Overview
This qualification is ideal if you’re preparing for your first management role in the third sector or are a practising manager and want to improve your performance – get a solid foundation in the specific set of skills you need to manage volunteers. This interactive qualification encourages managers to reflect on their current practices, and develop ways to enhance the volunteering experience for both current and potential volunteers.

Learner commitment:
4 x half day facilitated group sessions (online) – attendance at all sessions is compulsory
1 x one hour coaching session – optional
Completion of a self-reflective tool – optional
Completion of a workbook – completion is essential and is assessed against key learning outcomes to award the qualification. Approx time outside of facilitated group sessions for learners to complete the workbook, 8 hours.
