LEVEL 4 ADVANCED INDEPENDENT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCATE (IDVA) MODULE

The Level 4 Advanced IDVA Module has been developed by Women's Aid for experienced practitioners who are ready to take the next step in their professional development. Designed specifically for Senior Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (Senior IDVAs), Team Leaders, Service Managers, and experienced domestic abuse professionals who have completed the Level 3 IDVA Qualification, this advanced qualification strengthens the strategic, leadership, and specialist practice skills required to lead high-quality domestic abuse services.

The qualification builds upon existing knowledge and experience, enabling learners to confidently lead teams, manage high-risk and complex cases, improve service quality, and contribute to organisational and system-wide change.

This advanced module is designed for professionals who already have substantial experience within the domestic abuse sector, including:
